My Approach to Therapy:
I use a client centered approach to treatment. What this means is that I will work with you and your family to identify the goals that are important to you. I additionally utilize a Cognitive *Behavioral approach but I have experience using various therapeutic approaches. For therapy to be successful for you it is important to select an approach that fits best for you. Therefore, I will work with you to determine how we will work together. Over the course of therapy I will adjust my approach and focus, based on your feedback.

Working with Children and Adolescents:
I have a great deal of experience with adolescents. My areas of specialization include helping children and teens who are struggling with Depression or other Mood disorders, Anxiety and ADHD. In working with children and adolescents, I believe that it is often useful to involve parents, and even other family members, in the therapeutic process.

Working with Adults:
In my work with adults, I focus on helping my clients navigate life changes such as change in employment needs, relationship, and blended family concerns. I work with adults to address issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, and cultural/ relational difficulties. Again, while I primarily rely on a Cognitive Behavioral model I tailor my approach to fit your needs.
